INTERNAL AUDIT

Head of Internal Audit Department
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To formulate, execute and maintain effective and efficient internal audit policies, procedures and control systems;
  • To formulate the annual audit plan on risk-based considerations, and with timely execution and reporting;
  • To identify, develop and document audit issues and observations, offer recommendations of improvements to facilitate an effective governance and control across the organization;
  • To oversee new product and service development so as to make sure there will be full compliance on relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
  • To liaise and work closely with Group Office, external auditor and regulator on internal control and audit related matters;
  • To coach, motivate and develop the professional knowledge of subordinates;
  • To maintain good relationships with senior management, being a key point of contact ensuring they are kept fully informed of any issues arising and the progress of the audit;
  • To perform ad-hoc audit examination as situation arises.

  Requirements:
 
  • Qualified Accountant/Auditor or degree holder in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 10 years’ internal audit experience in banking industry in delivering operational, credit, wealth management, compliance and AML/CTF audits
  • Sound knowledge of auditing, banking and regulatory requirements in Macau
  • Knowledge of auditing, banking and regulatory requirement in HK will be an advantage
  • A confident team player of excellent communication skills to lead and perform audits
  • A strategic-minded, enthusiastic and self-motivated leader
  • Good presentation and reporting writing skills
  • Good skills in management of senior stakeholders


 

COMPLIANCE

Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To establish and perform all compliance functions to ensure that the Bank adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements 
  • Provide and formulate legal advices and guidelines to the Management
  • Drafting and vetting all legal documents or agreements
  • Coordination of legal review and opinions from external lawyers or regulatory bodies on corporate transactions
  • Provide legal advisory services to Bank to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external rules, policies, regulations and laws
  • To answer inquiries from regulators and various departments of the Bank
  • To perform ad-hoc legal projects

  Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor Degree holder and graduated in Law with a minimum of 7 years experience in banking industry
  • Familiar with Macau and Hong Kong laws, rules and regulations
  • Self-motivated, independent and pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in PC applications

 

Senior Officer
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To provide support in establishing and performing all compliance functions to ensure that the Bank adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • To perform periodic compliance reviews on the Bank’s various activities
  • To review the AML reports and various sales and trading activities for identifying any suspicions
  • To provide support in AML & compliance-related training
  • To assist in answering inquiries from regulators and various departments of the Bank
  • To assist in performing ad-hoc compliance projects

  Requirements:
 
  • University graduate with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in banking industry
  • Sound knowledge in Macau and Hong Kong laws, rules and regulations are an advantage
  • Self-motivated, independent and pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in PC applications
  • Familiar with the Banking systems


 

RETAIL BANKING

Branch Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To explore business opportunities and implement business plans to achieve business targets set by the management
  • To develop and cultivate existing and new customer relationship in accordance with the branch target segments
  • To manage and train up branch staff to provide quality services and promote a full range of bank’s retail products to customers
  • To manage branch daily operations in comply with the bank’s risk control standards and operations procedures

  Requirements:
 
  • Degree holder with 8 years of experience in retail banking of which at least 3 years in supervisory level
  • Sound knowledge of retail banking/wealth management and branch operations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Result-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin

 

Relationship Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To promote and solicit new business as well as to achieve sales targets of the branch
  • To develop existing business activities and maintain good relationship with customers
  • To perform credit activities including credit proposals and credit analysis
  • To provide general banking services and information to customers

  Requirements:
 
  • University degree holder preferable with 2 years of relevant experience in Retail Banking business or other business area
  • Sound  knowledge of retail financial products and services  
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken; Mandarin speaking an absolute advantage
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Relationship Manager

 

Operation Officer
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To monitor the cash position of Tellers and ensure their cash limit
  • To perform system override for transaction(s) exceeding the prescribed cash limit
  • To assist in supervising the daily administration, sales and operation activities checking
  • To check branch documents and rectify incorrect system input performed by Tellers
  • To arrange and control daily ATM cash replenishment

  Requirements:
 
  • Form 5 graduate or above with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

 

Customer Service Officer
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To handle all kinds of customer requests including account opening, application of credit card, ATM card, cheque book, etc.
  • To handle customer complaints
  • To sell banking and insurance products

  Requirements:
 
  • Form 6 graduate or above with a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience
  • Basic command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

 

Teller / Senior Teller
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To handle all retail cash or non-cash transactions over counter
  • To operate the ATM machine
  • To promote bank or insurance products for retail customers

  Requirements:
 
  • Form 6 graduate or above
  • Basic spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate with relevant experience would be considered as Senior Teller


 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Relationship Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To advise and manage existing customer’s portfolio to meet their financial needs
  • To solicit new commercial / retail loan business from potential and existing customers
  • To establish and maintain a good relationship with existing and potential customers
  • To provide professional and quality customer services

  Requirements:
 
  • University degree with a minimum of 3 years’ banking experience with strong clientele, preferably gained in Retail / Commercial Banking
  • Strong knowledge of loan products
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Highly independent and result-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Relationship Manager


 

VIP BANKING / WEALTH MANAGEMENT

Relationship Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To provide VIP banking services to VIP customers
  • To explore wealth management business opportunities with assigned customer portfolio
  • To achieve the assigned targets e.g. commission income, new accounts, etc.
  • To conduct investment deal transactions

  Requirements:
 
  • University degree holder in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferably with professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP, CFMP, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years’ banking experience in wealth management business
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly responsible and self-motivated with good problem solving skills


 

COMMERCIAL BANKING

Account Manager
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To promote, solicit and develop existing and new business relating to trade finance, personal and commercial lending activities
  • To perform credit activities including credit appraisal, annual review, preparing credit proposals, credit risk analysis and cross-selling banking/insurance products to customers

  Requirements:
 
  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related disciplines with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Good presentation and negotiation skill
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
  • Self driven, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Candidates with less experience would be considered as Assistant Account Manager


 

CALL CENTRE

Customer Service Officer
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To conduct inbound and outbound calls
  • To deliver multilingual and professional banking services
  • To participate in telemarketing of banking and insurance products
  • To handle customer complaints

  Requirements:
 
  • Diploma or degree holder
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication skill, outgoing and responsible


 

ACCOUNTING

Accounting Clerk
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To perform daily monitoring of various general ledger accounts
  • To assist and co-ordinate with relevant branches for the system adjustments
  • To prepare breakdowns of suspense accounts for control purpose
  • To assist in preparing periodic reports to the management and regulators
  • To carry out other assigned duties

  Requirements:
 
  • University degree / diploma in Accounting or related discipline with minimum one year of relevant experience in banking industry
  • Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken
  • Sound knowledge of application software including MS Excel and Word
  • Good organization skills and initiative, able to work independently
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior Accounting Clerk


 

OTHER DEPARTMENTS

Clerk
  Responsibilities:
 
  • To provide clerical and administrative support to department

  Requirements:
 
  • Form 6 graduate or above, preferably with relevant experience
  • Basic spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Responsible, hardworking and good interpersonal skills
