Opening of Star Rewards Account must be under registration of BCM UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond Card or BCM UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Card

Terms and Conditions

Star Rewards Account Bonus Point Enquiry

Terms & Conditions for Star Rewards Level Upgrade and Bonus Point Rewards:

The Star Rewards Account (“The Account”) Level Upgrade and Bonus Point Rewards is valid from 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2024, and BCM bank has the rights to amend and/or reset the criteria of account level upgrade, bonus point rewards and respective requirements.
The calculation of the Star Rewards Account Level Upgrade and Bonus Point Rewards is based on customer basis, i.e. if customer possesses both MOP and HKD Account, the calculation and maximum requirements imposed will be based on the total aggregated monthly average balance and total aggregated transactions of banking products/services under the same customer.
The Account is not applicable to joint name account or minor account.
Calculation of monthly requirement:

The monthly average balance is based on the total aggregated monthly average balance of the Account(s) under the same customer。
Designated banking product/service transaction is based on the transaction amount posted on transaction day.
BCM Mobile Banking Login is based on the date of the successful login record.
VIP Banking customer is required to maintain valid VIP status and the fulfillment of the monthly deposit and investment portfolio requirement in order to enjoy the 1.2x bonus point rewards on the monthly total bonus points earned.

The earned bonus points will be converted to Asia Miles on a monthly basis and credited to designated Cathay membership account automatically at the conversion rate of the registered credit card within 1 month after the issuance of the credit card statement. Customer must successfully register the designated Cathay membership account with BCM bank, otherwise, the bonus point rewards of the month will be automatically forfeited.

If customer registers the BCM UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond Card, the points will be automatically converted to 1 Asia Mile by every 10 bonus points.
If customer registers the BCM UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Card, the points will be automatically converted to 1 Asia Mile by every 15 bonus points.
Shall customer closed the relevant account before the monthly bonus point is credited, the related bonus point of the month will be automatically forfeited.

Customer should maintain valid accounts with good financial status in order to entitle to the bonus point rewards
This service/product is not targeted at customers in the EU.
BCM bank reserves the rights to amend any of the requirements, including but not limited to the bonus point rewards, conversion of Asia Miles under credit card bonus points, products and services, and monthly rewards requirements etc.
